History of Laris Chandra

Laris Chandra is a distributor company for various global brands such as STP, Turtle Wax, Penray, Prestone, and Armor All, apart from being a distributor, we also made a breakthrough by creating our own brands, namely SIP and CHW which produced wood couplers and rivets, in the first quarter 2013 we expanded our business by making our own brand, namely AutoGard Premium Spray Paint. And followed by the infamous Car Parfume brand California Scents in 2022. With various breakthroughs and expansion of the production division as well as sales, Laris Chandra should be called not only a distributor company, but a “multi-talent” company and will continue to develop creating new opportunities to become the best.

1978

Begin with marketing STP products in 1978 with the legendary STP Oil Treatment product at that time, then expanded to include lubricant products, fuel additives, oil additives, functional fluids, cleaners, appearance and multi-purpose treatments.

1981

In 1981 products from the United States labeled as Penray were brought. With its excellent products, namely rust coating undercoat, penetrant, belt dressing, and silicone spray

1984

became the sole distributor of Turtle Wax in 1984 with products including Auto Washes, tire and wheel care, Compounds and Cleaners, Protectants and Interior Care.

1988

in 1988 Laris Chandra expanded by opening a wood and aluminum blind rivet screw factory under the brand SIP.

1997

On this year, Prestone Radiator Product became a brand which was then marketed by PT Laris Chandra with engine cooling system product lines and radiator coolants.

2000

In the year of 2000 Laris Chandra was trusted as the sole distributor for auto exterior and interior care products, this was a big step for Laris Chandra, where the Armor All product was a big product in the US market share.

2005

In order to increase the production of wood couplers and to meet market needs and demands, Laris Chandra decided to expand the factory and add machinery and production facilities which gave birth to the CHW Brand in 2005.

2013

Then in 2013 Laris Chandra made a new breakthrough by producing the AutoGard brand premium spray paint. By looking at the spray paint market in Indonesia, which is still open, and there are not too many competitors.

2021

On this year, Energizer holding trusted us as the sole distributor for California Scents.
